On Sunday 21st May 2017 Urban Village Fete is back for a its third year. Curated by HemingwayDesign, Urban Village Fete is an alternative, contemporary twist on the traditional summer fete for the Peninsula’s pioneering residents and all Londoners.
Having attracted more than 25,000 visitors in the past two years, 2017’s event looks to be a bigger, bolder celebration of the best in design, music, art, innovative events and modern craftsmanship, right at the heart of Greenwich Peninsula.
The free day out will feature a range of curated designer
marketplaces, street food vendors, art & design workshops, unique pop-ups and a series of talks hosted by BBC Radio London’s Robert Elms. For music lovers, Gilles Peterson, the iconic British DJ and owner of Brownswood Recordings will be at the helm all day.

Living Crafts brings you beautifully crafted designs chosen for their high quality and innovation. The event takes place in matted pavilions on the Queen Elizabeth Oak Showground, in the magnificent parkland at Hatfield House and admission includes entry to the West Gardens.
Featuring the best of contemporary and traditional craft, from jewellery making, ceramics, sculpture, art, woodworking, designer fashions and textiles to besom making, bodging and cider pressing.
Get all your Christmas shopping sorted at our Peckham Market on Sunday 11th December (11am - 5pm). There will be 55+ different designer/makers and artists taking part each day alongside an inspiring mix of workshops. We will be specifically looking for design-focused traders for this event which will also feature an artists installation as well as our usual mix of workshops, DJs and drinks.
